The Farc rebel group of Colombia has denied its part in kidnapping of the two tourists from Spain in north-east of country. A spokesman of Farc said that it is the common criminals that were to be blamed since left-wing group got orders to end up hostage taking It was five days back that the couple got disappeared in La Guajira province as they were driving to some tourist attraction close to Venezuelan border.

Kidnappers allegedly had them identified as Farc members. Speaking in Havana, Cuban capital, where Farc members have talks of peace with government of Colombia, the spokesman Andres Paris said that they rejected this weird accusation of the common cruelty categorically and that the zero order detentions were being followed throughout national territory.

Still the authorities are looking for Spaniards who have disappeared while they were driving near Venezuelan border, in La Guajira, on Friday. Kidnappers made contact with family of hostages and had themselves identified as the members of left-wing Farc rebels. The authorities at Colombia say that Maria Concepcion Marlaska Sedano and Angel Sanchez Fernandez were on the way to Cabo de La Vela which is a major site for tourists at the time they disappeared.
The car they were driving was seen abandoned, with damaged windscreen, on Friday.

Over decades, Farc have involved themselves in kidnappings in hundreds but lately, according to the rebels they’ve given up on this activity and they have released any hostages they had taken.
It isn’t rare for common criminals to make use of Farc’s name in order to have strong bargaining.
But neither the rebels nor the authorities of Columbia confirmed about the group being involved in this latest kidnapping.It is peace talks that Farc is involved these days with the government of Colombia in order to end up the conflict that is about 5 decades old.
