Support From Every Corner
Ever since the story of the prom gone wrong has gone viral on social media, Clare has received an outpouring of support online. Outraged supporters have got in touch with readers responding on Facebook, her original blog post and across the wider news media, even by way of mail.
In spite of this neither the Richmond Homeschool Prom nor the individuals and staff who had asked her to leave her prom night ever talked about the events of the night or the ticket refunds that are now due to Clare’s friends “We were verbally promised a full refund for our group, we received only a refund for my ticket, they need to refund 5 more tickets for our group,” Clare raged on her blog and social media.
