Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate by e-mail, Zoom, and phone business professionals about Torpac’s products.
  • Answer product line, pricing, stock, lead time, shipping, and order status questions.
  • Prepare quotations and accurately process customer orders via e-mail and phone.
  • Quickly build rapport and “connect” with prospects and existing customers.
  • Take ownership of making contact lists, reaching out to customers and updating records.
  • Become knowledgeable about customer’s business practices and functions.
  • Strong follow-up and feedback required with existing customers for references or tips on new trends and developments. Cross sell as appropriate or recommend upgrades when needed.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations for improvements to the company.

Requirements

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to be self-motivated to work independently.
  • Strong organization, time management, and good listening skills as well as accurate, detail oriented and ability to follow up.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel; Zoom/Teams and general computer navigation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Spanish speaking a plus!

Salary

$20 to $24 per hour
