Job Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including AP coding, AR analysis, billing, general ledger maintenance, payroll review, and monthly invoicing.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, trial balance preparation, and audit coordination.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and providing financial insights to operational leaders.
  • Maintain internal controls, ensure GAAP compliance, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain customer and vendor databases and review labor costs, including communication with temp agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance, or 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • 1–5 years of accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Understanding of internal policies, regulatory standards (ISO, GMP, USDA), and commitment to confidentiality.

Salary

$65K – $75K/yr
