Job Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting thorough legal research.
  • Manage legal documents through effective document management systems, ensuring accuracy in filing and organization.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for case development.
  • Support project management tasks by tracking deadlines and coordinating schedules for court appearances and meetings.
  • Handle data entry and clerical tasks with precision to maintain up-to-date case files.
  • Administrative support, including managing phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a legal or administrative role within a law office
  • Proficiency in legal software applications
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Salary

$60,000 – $65,000 a year
