Job Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery used in the manufacturing of ammunition components
- Follow detailed work instructions, job orders, and safety protocols
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to ensure specifications are met
- Monitor machine operation and adjust settings to maintain quality and output
- Perform routine maintenance, clean equipment, and report mechanical issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Accurately complete production records and related paperwork
- Collaborate with other operators, maintenance staff, and supervisors to meet production targets
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of machine operation experience, preferably in a manufacturing or ammunition-related environment
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control standards
- Understanding of manufacturing safety procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening in compliance with federal firearms regulations
Salary
$20 to $25 per hour
