Job Responsibilities

As a Production Crew Member, you are responsible for setting up and assembling Precast concrete units. This position is in a construction environment.

Essential Functions:

  1. Protect Family and Friends. Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and guidelines. Support business activities, objectives, and programs. Upon start of work be prepared with proper PPE and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  2. Integrity. Arrive to work at time scheduled and punch in at time clocks to the appropriate job and product that you will be working on. Check-in and out with Crew Leader before leaving work/leaving work area for any reason.
  3. Compulsive Tinkering. Review previous day’s production on a daily basis to look for areas where quality can be improved.
  4. Respect and engage. Follow Crew Leader’s instruction to maintain a steady workflow throughout the day.
  5. Mastery. Maintain proper care of mold, tools, and equipment. Help prepare/stage materials for next day to maintain efficient workflow. Inform Crew Leader of missing materials of information to avoid stoppage. Disassemble, clean & set-up of Precast concrete forms. Handle and tie steel rebar cages, mesh & other internal components.
  6. Work-life Rhythm. Notify Crew Leader of any upcoming scheduled time off, appointments, etc.

Requirements

  1. Experience working in the manufacturing/construction environment, preferred
  2. High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  3. Ability to meet established deadlines.
  4. Legal right to work in the U.S.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 50 lb. or more. This position works on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.

Salary

From $20 an hour
