Job Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of social media strategies that align with brand and business objectives.
- Independently manage social campaigns from concept through execution, including content planning, publishing, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with Community Marketing, Content, and Digital Video teams to create compelling, channel-specific content that resonates with target audiences.
- Drive innovation in social storytelling by identifying emerging trends and applying insights to content strategy.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders based on performance data and audience insights.
- Oversee social media content calendars, ensuring alignment with broader marketing campaigns and seasonal priorities.
- Manage real-time content capture and publishing at live events, ensuring brand consistency and timely engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify YETI’s presence in niche communities.
- Utilize social listening tools to identify opportunities for engagement and content creation.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements that enhance team efficiency and output.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media strategy or digital marketing, preferably in a brand or agency setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make strategic decisions with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform content and campaign decisions.
- Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and their respective content formats.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Sprinklr, native platforms).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Passion for the outdoors, particularly in the Hunt and Fish space, is strongly preferred.
