DAMASCUS—Main group of opposition in Syria blamed regime of President Bashar al-Assad of killing above 650 people due to one attack of chemical weapon near Damascus this Wednesday.
According to National Coalition, above 650 are confirmed to be dead as a result of this deadly attack of chemical weapon in Syria.
The activists earlier had reported some five-hundred killed due to inhalation of gas and the exposure to the chemical weapons.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, one monitoring group which is Britain-based, says that at least a hundred people got killed in one attack which struck many rebel areas on southwest and east of Damascus.
Though, it didn’t comment on allegations regarding any gas attack.
Syrian authorities did deny the charges that army had used any chemical arms and saying these reports were only meant to hinder UN inspectors’ mission in the country at that time.
